Natalia Martinez Sagan is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans on and off stage. She has had art and ‘reduce, reuse & recycle’ engraved in her heart since early childhood; when not crafting or dancing, she could be found out in the garden collecting flowers or composting. Invested in environmental activism since then, at age 12 she was distinguished as ‘Councilmember for a Day’ by her hometown’s city council, due to a project she wrote addressing the lack of waste management in the area.
Natalia’s profound passion for Planet Earth and the arts led her to merge both worlds, and for over a decade now she has been working as a producer, art director, designer + maker, stylist and advisor specialized in the application of sustainable practices within the creative industries, with vast experience in theater, photography, interior design, and events.
Devoted to promote environmental awareness through creative reuse, Natalia has been an advisor to the award winning charity Fashion Revolution, the New York City Department of Sanitation, Donate NYC, and many companies, as well as independent creatives, in the US, Europe, and Latin America.
As a speaker, she has been invited to join panels at the United Nations, Columbia University, the University of Pennsylvania, the Delegation of the European Union at the UN, and Universidad de Palermo, among others.
Natalia’s work has been part of exhibitions and installations at the Southern Vermont Arts Center, Urban Zen Foundation by Donna Karan, Brooklyn Art House, Metropolitan Pavilion, NYC x Reuse, Trash Art Center Buenos Aires, and others.
She holds a certification in Sustainability Business Management from University of Cambridge (UK), a diploma in Ecofeminism from Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina), and is a Climate Reality Leader, trained by former US Vice-president Al Gore.
A professionally trained musical theater performer and Argentine folklore dancer herself, Natalia has been part of productions such as Chicago and Grease, having also participated – as both a singer and a dancer – in projects such as the worldwide initiative ‘Climate Change Theater Action’.
Natalia Martinez Sagan es una artista multidisciplinaria cuyo trabajo se extiende arriba y abajo del escenario. El arte y “reducir, reutilizar y reciclar” están grabados en su corazón desde niña; cuando no estaba haciendo manualidades o bailando, se la podía encontrar en el jardín recogiendo flores o compostando. Activista ambiental desde la infancia, a los 12 años fue distinguida como ‘Concejal por un Día’ por el Honorable Consejo Deliberante de Lomas de Zamora, debido a un proyecto que escribió acerca de la falta de gestión de residuos en su municipio.
La profunda pasión de Natalia por el Planeta Tierra y las artes la llevó a fusionar ambos mundos, y desde hace más de una década se desempeña como productora, directora de arte, diseñadora + realizadora, estilista y asesora especializada en la aplicación de prácticas sustentables dentro de las industrias creativas, con amplia experiencia en teatro, fotografía, diseño de interiores y eventos.
Dedicada a promover conciencia ambiental a través del reuso creativo, Natalia ha sido asesora de la galardonada organización Fashion Revolution, el New York City Department of Sanitation, Donate NYC y variedad de empresas, así como creativos independientes, en EE.UU., Europa y América Latina.
Como conferencista, ha sido invitada a formar parte de paneles en la sede de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas en Nueva York, la Universidad de Columbia, la Universidad de Pennsylvania, la Delegación de la Unión Europea en la ONU y la Universidad de Palermo, entre otros.

Intérprete de teatro musical y bailarina de folklore argentino de formación profesional, Natalia ha sido parte de los elencos de musicales tales como Chicago y Grease, habiendo también participado como cantante y bailarina en proyectos de diversa índole, tales como la iniciativa teatral internacional ‘Climate Change Theater Action’.
